Manager Finance, Controlling- start up Ostrava

Tasks:

  • Professional and disciplinary leadership of a small, highly qualified team
  • Organization and assurance of proper bookkeeping
  • Contact for all business management issues in the CZ region including budget planning and cost unit accounting
  • Assistance in the preparation of profit, loss, balance sheet, liquidity and investment statements
  • Independent preparation of monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with CZ and IFRS and organisation of the preparation process
  • Design key figure systems, analyse and evaluate key figures
  • Develop and implement measures to increase the profitability of the company in accordance with the specifications of the management in workshops/teams, or monitor the implementation
  • Ensure compliance with targets and take corrective action if deviations occur
  • Independent performance of inventory valuation
  • Monitoring/controlling current assets
  • Monitoring financial resources to ensure the company's liquidity
  • Participation in monthly reporting
  • Assistance in the preparation and maintenance of group and accounting guidelines
  • Design and coordinate strategies to improve operational decision-making and control processes
  • Responsibility for the preparation, annotation and, if necessary, presentation of the current reporting.
  • Contact person for external auditors (auditors, tax auditors, etc.)
  • Clarification of difficult account assignment cases and corresponding implementation
  • Cooperation in the preparation of the budget planning
  • Maintenance of the procedural instructions applicable to the financial sector and preparation of new necessary procedural instructions

Requirements:

  • successfully completed economic studies with a focus on accounting/taxes or controlling or comparable education or professional experience
  • several years (5 to 10 years) of relevant professional experience, in particular in accounting and tax matters
  • Very good knowledge of IFRS and Czech commercial law as well as local Czech tax law (income taxes, value added Tax, other taxes), incl. necessary publication obligations
  • very good knowledge of mandatory reporting requirements (e.g. statistical reporting, etc.)
  • Experience in the area of controlling of a manufacturing industrial company (e.g. ensuring compliance with targets as well as development and introduction of corrective measures, preparation/commenting of ongoing reporting,independent execution of the budget process, etc.)
  • Experience in customs clearance
  • Experience in setting up an organizational structure for the FI/CO areas of a manufacturing plant is desirable.
  • very good knowledge of MS-Office and SAP FI/CO, experience in further modules desirable
  • very good knowledge of common bank programs (e.g. SFirm, MultiCash)
  • very good knowledge of written and spoken English, knowledge of German desirable
  • high commitment and flexibility
  • international willingness to travel
